The popular Ewe and Lamb public house is located within a few minutes walk, serving good food and drink. The village playground is a couple of minutes walk away along the lane. The cottage is is ideally located for a holiday in Kent within close proximity of many of the popular tourist destinations. Sissinghurst Castle, Bewl Water, Bedgebury Pinetum, Cranbrook Windmill, Tenterden Vineyards, Biddenden Vineyards, the historic town of Rye and the long sandy beach at Camber Sands are all within a short drive. There is plenty to do for adults and children alike and the area has many wonderful local quaint pubs and popular restaurants. Full details of the local pubs, restaurants and places of interest are provided in the house manual located in the Old Workshop. There are lovely local dog walks at Bedgebury, Hempstead Forest, Bewl Water and at the coast. A car is recommended. There is parking for several cars in the driveway.
