Conveniently located less than 5 minutes’ walk from Paignton sandy beach, Norwegian Wood offers tranquil accommodation with a garden, free parking, and views of the English Riviera. There is free WiFi throughout the property.

Each room at Norwegian Wood features a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities, and scenic views of the garden and the sea. Each room comes with organic beverages and filtered drinking water. Shared bathroom facilities are available.

A hearty, organic breakfast is served daily and it is made of locally sourced ingredients. Homemade evening meals, including an Aga-cooked crab platter, are available upon request. Special dietary requirements, including vegan, lacto-vegetarian and wheat-free diets, are available upon request.

Totnes is 6 miles away and the B&B is set less than a mile outside the town of Torquay. With prior arrangement, a nutritional iridology consultation is available on Wednesdays.

Information about the host

This house has a lovely healthy feel to it , birds and animals thrive here especially slow worms. Deer are regular visitors to our garden.We have four cats ,daisy ,chrystal ,cream , coco. The sea air is invigorating and people leave feeling refreshed and batteries recharged.Children relax immediately and enjoy the beaches and amenities.

John and I have run this B+B for eight years in Paignton . We had another By+B before in Totnes we ran for 15 years.We have always supported organic chemical free foods.Try to be sustainable but not purist or fanatical.
