Information about the host

Our house is a traditional Scottish building built circa 1910. Its location is fantastic. Train and bus station within a few minutes walk. Two groceries shops. Not to forget to mention The Balloch Castle Country Park just across the road. Many pubs and restaurants on the same street with our house. From 01st August 2017 Norwood Guest House will no longer be operating as a Self-Catering outlet. You can now book Norwood Apartments for self-catering options. We now offer cooked Scottish breakfast.

We both work in hospitality industry. And we both used to work on cruise ships. We don't travel as much anymore but we love having people coming over to our guest house. We love meeting new people, have a nice conversation....

Balloch is the ideal place to start your trip in Scotland. It is both close to the city and the Highland. There are plenty of things to do around. Fantastic country walk, hiking, horseback riding, water sports.... There are great pubs, restaurants, including 1Michelin star restaurant Martin Wishart close by.
