This was the show flat when this building was first converted to luxury flats from a former distillery, making it larger than a lot of other flats within the building, it is full of character and you can easily see many of the distillery features when you first arrive at the property. Situated within a secure gated location with secure underground parking with allocated space. There is a lift from the car park so whether you have a buggy or just heavy bags there is no need to struggle. With all the amenities you will need, no matter your reason to visit this will be your home from home. We are ideally suited to get to and from Edinburgh Airport on the Skylink 300 service. Jump on the bus at the airport at stance F and hop off at either stop 36 or 37. If you want to go into the city centre then the bus stop is a very short walk from our front gates. Jump on the 34 or 4 or 44 and you'll be in the heart of the city in no time. Or if you prefer to travel by train, Slateford Train Station is a short walk away. Of course you can always walk into the city centre, will take you approx. 30 - 45 mins depending on your pace.
I love Edinburgh, I was born here and moved back once I was married. Not many cities have a castle and I still marvel every time I see it. I love walking around the parks, especially the Botanic Gardens. I enjoy a walk up Craiglockhart Hill and the views from the top are fab. Even after all these years I still jump when the 1 O'clock gun goes off. Don't worry this is just the cannon at the Castle telling us it's time for lunch. I'm sure you'll agree that once you've been here you'll never want to leave.
