Having lived in York most of my life I can't recommend a better city for your holiday, the Bishopthorpe Road area of town is a perfect base for exploring the city and has great transport links to Yorkshire. Less than five minutes walk is the fabulous Bishy Road district with vibrant bars, cafes and shops. From here you can also access the bar walls and start your walk around the city or of course visit the famous York Minster. Whatever your reason behind your visit to York you will find everything is in easy access from the apartment.
