Welcome to Oakdene! Our deluxe kingsize bedroom, ensuite bathroom and guest lounge has its own private entrance and ample parking. The ensuite includes shower, toilet and sink with toiletries supplied. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in the lounge.The rooms form part of a modern annex to a 250 year old cottage in the small hamlet of Higher Ogden. Oakdene is less than 2 miles from Junction 21 of the M62 and 1.2 miles from the nearest Metro stop in Newhey. Whenever possible we can give you a lift to and from the Metro!

Jon and I have a great family and love nothing better than entertaining our family and friends in our quirky cottage on the foothills of the Pennines. I am passionate about plants and gardens and our Pennine garden is my life project. We live close to the Pennine Way and enjoy views of the hills of West Yorkshire and Lancashire. We love walking, both locally and further afield. Jon also runs on the fells and is a keen thespian.

Saddleworth, with its restaurants and historical pubs, is a short hop over the hill.
