The 800 year Ancient Mill is a water mill mentioned in the Doomsday Book and rebuilt in 1700 and its grounds are nestled in the rolling hills of west Dorset. The natural landscapes and wildlife are bountiful with tranquil silence apart from the sound of running water, fresh air and clear and starlit sky's. You'll have a garden to enjoy with a lake, ponds, waterfall and a river and stream. There are benches and an outdoor terrace for BBQ. You will have privacy in the Mill as it is a separate building, we live in the Mill House. One room has an en-suite bathroom the other has an exclusive bathroom next to it. Free WiFi. Excellent cycling and riding school nearby and about 15 minutes to the UNESCO world heritage beaches. Please note we have Dorchester in our address but the town itself is actually 20 minutes away. We are in-between the towns to Yeovil, Crewkerne, Beaminster and Bridport.
