The old rectory guest house is a grade 2 listed building once owned by the rector of staveley william gisbourn. he also had connections to the local netherthorpe school which is were he had a hospital for the poor to attend. built in 1719 It has been a guest house since 1985.
Staveley is an old mining area that is situated 4-5miles from the peak district. It is situated near the Transpennine Walk Ways which take you into Poolsbrook Country Park and Rother Valley Country Park along side the Canal Walk Ways, which are also the traffic free cycle rides. We are 10mins away from Renishaw Hall and Bolsover Castle, we are also near Chatsworth, Baslow, Haddon hall and Hardwick Hall. Sheffield is but 30mins away Barrow Hill round house is 10 mins away.
