A stylish and spacious self contained annexe attached to my home overlooking Swansea Bay and a short distance from Mumbles village, nestled in a peaceful private garden. Situated on a private road onesladegardens offers you the perfect bolthole for exploring Mumbles and the beautiful Gower peninsular. The annexe has a self contained hallway, one double bedroom, one bathroom and an open plan kitchen/diner and living room with large sofa bed. Bookings for two people are for double occupancy of bedroom only. If two people want to sleep in two beds there is an extra charge. Unfortunately due to bookingdotcom bookings system this arrangement of booking for two people in two separate beds has to be put in as three people staying. Alternatively cash can be paid on arrival for use of the comfortable sofabed. I do not allow people to just sleep on the sofa. There is Sky television in the living room plus good wifi signal throughout the property. There are keys for all rooms and a key safe for entry. Guests comment on the tranquility and peacefulness of the house and garden and it is cool in summer and cosy and comfortable with everything you need.
The annexe is decorated with interesting artwork picked up from my time as a music producer and is not your usual IKEA furnished letting property with good quality furnishings and fittings. I live in the main house most of the time so if guests need help to improve their stay in anyway I am there to ask advice and to help. There is literature and maps about Gower and Mumbles in the annex to help you plan your visits out.
Slade Gardens is situated on a quiet lane, a favourite with walkers who use the picturesque walk through the gothic cemetery to cut through to get to top Mumbles. Alternatively you can walk down the hill and walk along the promenade right by the sea to get to Mumbles village which is full of pubs, restaurants and shops. The promenade is a glorious seaside walk past pubs and restaurants and leads to the Pier and the lifeboat station. Mumbles is the entrance to the Gower Peninsular, the first place designated by the National Trust to be an Area of Outstanding Beauty. As a trained Gower Ambassador I can give you the full low down on activities in Gower, places to visit both easily accessible and the more wild parts of Gower.
