A spectacular area - so peaceful and unspoiled. Kelso is 4 miles. A delivery from Sainsbury's would be handy for you and a lot of guests are doing this. Local butchers, cafes, Julians veg and 4 super markets selling fresh and local produce. I live one mile away and offer help when required but total privacy.
