Hebden is surrounded by glorious countryside with wide open spaces to explore. The very best way to do this is on foot. The beck which flows through Hebden can be followed half a mile down to the River Wharfe and the Dales Way. Or walk upstream towards the lead mines at Yarnbury and Grassington Moor. There are many lovely villages and towns to explore - Grassington, Burnsall, Skipton, Pateley Bridge, Bolton Abbey, Harrogate and Ilkley.
