Our Snug

With a a pretty courtyard and a patio area for drinks, Our Snug has a peaceful location 10 miles from York. There is free Wi-Fi in public areas and some rooms and free parking on-site.

Rooms at Our Snug are cosy, with traditional wooden furnishings. Each benefits from a TV with a DVD player, and comes with facilities for making tea and coffee.

Alternatively, 0.9 miles away is the charming village of Riccall where a choice of restaurants, pubs, a selection of shops, a children's play park and a regular bus service to York and Selby are available.

These cottages offer excellent accommodation for families and visitors of all ages and abilities, including wheel chair users, built with comfort in mind they are spacious and well equipped, with an en suite wet room and set in extensive open grounds.

Information about the host

Our Snug, is the much loved private quarters we used for the 35 years we ran our BnB. Sadly this is no longer possible, so we are offering it to you as self catering accommodation with everything you might need for a short break. Annexed to our own home Our Snug has its own gravel garden and patio a perfect setting for a relaxing short break. or longer stay if working in the area.

We are in a rural location just a mile from the friendly village of Riccall with its excellent facilities. 2 pubs, Italian restaurant, Cafe, Village Minimarket and Bakery/Deli /Post Office. ( The Pickled Postie} along with an excellent children's play area. 3 miles away is the little market town of Selby, with its beautiful Abbey, Visiting York?? the park and ride just 8 miles down the road.
