Pannett View is a stunning period 2 bed / 2 bath period property. Elegantly decorated to suit couples, groups, and families alike. Situated in the heart of Whitby, within 2 minutes walk to the centre of town. We have every amenity that you need, from a fully stocked kitchen, microwave, washer dryer, cooker and hob, ironing board, iron, travel cot, high chair, TV's in every room, Alexa device in the living room - pretty much everything you need to make you feel right at home. Bed linen and towels are all provided, along with complementary toiletries for your use. A selection of complementary tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, sweeteners, milk, and biscuits, are all provided for your enjoyment. We provide free parking scratch cards for all guests, as parking can be expensive! In light of Covid19, our guests can rest assured that our apartment is fully deep cleaned in between guests. The guest information folder will provide you with all of the information that you'll need for your holiday / stay in Whitby, including information about the apartment, and also things to see and do. Whitby is a popular choice for visitors all year round. It is well known for its long sandy beach and delicious seafood. The river Esk flows through the town to the sea and cottages are perched on the hills on each side, with cobbled streets and historic yards providing a maze of places to explore. The town has a fantastic mix of modern shops and services, traditional stores and boutique shops. Whitby jet continues to be made into beautiful jewellery and sold in a number of shops. There are plenty of excellent restaurants which serve local fish and seafood, as well as a wonderful choice of cafes and tearooms. The ruins of Whitby Abbey stand dominantly on the clifftop and can be reached by climbing the 199 steps from the old town. The Abbey is said to have been the inspiration for Bram Stoker's novel Count Dracula, and its gothic splendour is the perfect place from which to take in some truly stunning views over the town, harbour and coastline. Whitby harbour is steeped in history and visitors can see where British explorer Captain James Cook first worked as an apprentice before setting sail and discovering Australia.
