Parkhouse Farm Cottages are peacefully and quietly tucked away on the grounds of a grand listed II building dating back from1660. The estate overlooks a paddock, a wood and has views over the magnificent chew valley countryside, and yet it's located directly at the outskirts of Keynsham. The cosy stone build outbuilding has been converted into two private and fully equipped apartments up to the highest standards, giving ultimate privacy. It offers a good size double bedroom with wardrobe and en-suite bathroom with a shower/bath, toilet and a open-plan kitchen and living area with heating The cottage is flooded with light from the French doors’ openings overlooking the garden. The cosy sitting room has a comfy sofa, good size flat screen TV with Freeview and possibility to sign in on your Netflix or BBC iPlayer account and WiFi. The kitchen is well equipped with fridge/freezer, cooker and a combination microwave, oven and grill, kettle and toaster. A good amount of larder supplies will be provided as well as all crockery, cutlery and glassware etc. The private garden has a table and chairs and a BBQ. Dogs are welcome. Baby cot, high chair and toys are available on request.

Rich, originally from Stoke-on-Trent and Marjon from The Netherlands moved to the Chew Valley a couple of years ago. We have two young kids and two small sweet dogs. We love travelling and have stayed at many privately run places ourselves. We love the places and new people we meet during our trips and it has inspired us to open up our own holiday cottages. Being passionate about old buildings we started looking for the perfect historic place to start our journey. We immediately fell in love with Parkhouse Farm and it's location in the countryside and yet so close to town. Parkhouse Farm Holiday Cottages are only a few minutes’ drive from a lot of places of interest like Bath, Bristol, Wells (cathedral), Cheddar Gorge and the Mendip Hills. Even the famous Cotswolds are only a half an hour drive away. But with many walks to choose from directly from the cottage it is also the perfect spot for nature lovers who would like to leave the car. The cottages are a within walking distance from Keynsham station (free parking close by) and the town centre with lots of pubs, bars, restaurants, shops and large supermarkets. From the station you can go directly to the centre of Bath (10 minutes) or Bristol (10 minutes). Mendip HIlls (7 miles), Wells (19 miles) Cheddar (19 miles) and the Cotswolds (19 miles) are on a nearby driving distance. Also the coast and Wales can be reached within 40 minutes. The Cottage You will have the use of the entire cottage, parking and part of the gardens. You will get a code to access the gate and cottage so you can come and go as you please. The cottage is part of Parkhouse Farm, but is separated from the main house where we live. You will have total privacy but if you need us for anything, we are there to help.
