Hi, My name is Phil. I live in the nearby market town of New Mills with my wife. We really love living in this part of the world. The Peak District is such a wonderful place to explore. We have two young daughters-identical twins in fact! We love to share the countryside with them. I have a passion for the outdoors, particularly the hills and mountains. I am a passionate rock climber and have spent many wonderful days climbing throughout the Peak District. The nearby crag of Castle Naze is one of my popular haunts. A few years ago I discovered paragliding whilst on a walk in Castleton. I learnt that I love to fly! Climbing high above the hills is a thermal is such a wonderful feeling and the views are just outstanding. What an adventure! We really love sharing our yurt with other people and listening to the great times people have had. It really is a wonderful place to spend a weekend (or longer!).
