The house has had some renovations including double glazed windows. We have a front seating area for enjoying the sea view with table and bench's and sun umbrella. Haven View and Axe View combine as Family rooms with rear view only. Haven is a King size double bed and Axe View next door to Haven View has two twin standard size single beds. No en-suite in these rooms but next to Axe View you have your own shower and toilet, not shared with other guests. Jubilee View on the first floor is en-suite and sea view. Jurassic View on the top floor is en-suite with sea view.
We are very happy to be living in such a splendid house and just love the area of East Devon. We aim to give our guests the ultimate b&b experience and our aim is to make our b&b a "Home from Home". Guests privacy is paramount to us although we are mostly always available on site.
We are right on The South West Coastal Path which stretches right along the Famous Jurassic Coast, an ideal stop over for walkers and cyclists. Seaton Town has an array of shops, restaurants and pubs which serve tasty meals. In March 2016 Seaton opened what is called Seaton Jurassic, this is a new modern building incorporating all things to do with the Jurassic history with displays and interactive exhibits for children and adults to enjoy. The Town Hall has a theatre and concert area where shows and films and live streaming of London theatre plays are put on regularly. Seaton is a friendly town where locals talk freely to tourists. Sea fishing, Kayaking, Sailing and Boat tours are available in the season. The Esplanade is flat and ideal for those with disabilities and wheelchairs. Beach Huts adorn the sea front in summer and make a great sight to see. Seaton lies between Lyme Regis and Sidmouth. Lyme Regis is well known for fossil hunting and Sidmouth is a Regency town very well worth a visit with it's array of shops and restaurants not forgetting the sea front with great panoramic views.
