Pennycroft Guest House

Pros: I can not praise Lawrence and Lizzy enough. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Pennycroft guest house is a lovely two bedroom cottage in the centre of Kettlewell. They let one bedroom out and the other one is their room. So basically you are the only guests in the cottage so the service is excellent!! They tell you to treat it like your own home The views are fabulous from your bedroom window it overlooks a fantastic garden with many different varieties of birds. Lovely cake and biscuits are left out for you. I would definitely stop with them again!

Pros: Our third time at Pennycroft and fantastic as always. Lovely room and comfy bed. Breakfast is fantastic and cooked to order by Lawrence. Nice touches like biscuits and sweets in the room and lovely cake from Lizzie, not to mention the home made sloe gin. Lizzie and Lawrence are great hosts and always available for advice and just a nice chat. Will definitely be back!

Pros: Lovely hosts in a beautiful location. Breakfast and amenities perfect. A very cosy and comfortable stay, will definitely return.

Pros: Great welcome. Very comfortable, use of the lounge. Lots of tea coffee and cake on tap. Even some sloe gin in the room. Very good breakfast. Good evening meal in the pub next door

Pros: Lovely en-suite room with gorgeous garden view. Very comfortable bed and very quiet. Their bird feeders attract all types of birds and entertained us for hours. Next door to two great pubs with excellent food. Lawrence was a wonderful host and prepared an outstanding breakfast. 10 stars all around.

Cons: Absolutely nothing.

Pros: Fantastic place to stay. Lizzie and Lawrence were brilliant hosts that went above and beyond. The cottage itself was clean and comfortable with nice gardens and lots of wildlife. Perfectly situated next to the Blue Bell pub which also deserves a shout out, serving delicious hearty meals. Breakfast was fantastic with lots to choose from, just what was needed prior to our onward journey. would definitely stay again.

Cons: Nothing to complain about what so ever.

Pros: Hosts very welcoming, friendly and helpful.The breakfast choice and quality was excellent and extras like tea and cake on arrival and home- made sloe gin were appreciated. Our damp outdoor gear was also dried on arrival which was also much appreciated. The location was excellent and there are lovely views from both the bedroom and dining area.

Pros: Breakfast was first class. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Near three pubs serving food.

Cons: No problems really.
