Pentrego Isaf is a lovely, detached cottage nestled in the village of Meifod, enveloped by countryside and within easy reach of Snowdonia National Park. It comprises four bedrooms; a double with en-suite bathroom, a four poster bed with en-suite shower room, a ground floor double with Jack-and-Jill access to wet room and a twin room, sleeping eight people in total. There is also a ground floor cloakroom, a kitchen with dining area, utility and a sitting room with woodburning stove. To the exterior is parking for 6 cars, a garage providing additional parking/secure bike storage and table tennis, as well as an enclosed paved patio and garden area with furniture. Meifod is a sunny little, stone-built village with a local pub, church and village hall enveloped by ragged hills and greenery, with attractive houses dressed in ivy. Situated about 8 miles north-west of Welshpool, this pretty village also offers its own football team, school and convenience store with a post office. Nearby, Llanfair Caereinion is in the heart of old Montgomeryshire's Banwy valley and is one of the smallest towns in Powys. Just a short walk over the Banwy Bridge from the hilly streets of the town centre, is the Welshpool to Llanfair Light Railway. Every year the Llanfair Caereinion Carnival proceeds through the town, with a colourful parade of floats and dancing troupes.
