Pros: The house was lovely - very spacious, well equipped and comfortable. It was very well kept and presented with lots of character. Beautiful garden and the location is perfect - central and easy walking to shops and restaurants. The hosts left us a welcome pack with milk, tea, coffee and cake which we appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Pros: The house is in an excellent location. It is huge, bright, light & airy, & is finished to a very high standard. No welcome bottle of wine, but plenty of coffee capsules, which was great. Well equipped kitchen, lovely garden, beautiful "room in the roof". Comfortable bed.
Cons: Cleaning was dubious, dog biscuit under one sofa (despite website saying pets are not allowed). Pistachio nuts under the other sofa, several broken biscuits amongst the cushions on the window seat. Main bathroom not clean around the toilet, strange smell in the shower. Oven pan put away very greasy, likely due to a previous tenant rather than cleaner. Chest of drawers had furniture castor & cables in, which I had to remove prior to unpacking. Yes, I am picky, but this property is not cheap, & I expected better. The house is stunning, the location is perfect, but it's let down by the standard of cleaning & the letting agents. I checked out 2 weeks ago, & despite chasing several times, my £300 damage deposit is still outstanding. I received an email yesterday to say the money has been transferred, but would take 5-10 days before it appears in my account, which would be a total of 4 weeks, the website says it is refundable during checkout, unacceptable. Flamingo Short Lets are also unable to produce a VAT receipt, as they are not VAT registered, which I find strange. I believe them to be poorly manage. Staff on the phone were very polite but I would never knowingly rent a property through this company again.
