Having much travelled we were inspired by the Scandinavian way of life, Hygge,(log cabins,hot tub & sauna culture.) We have brought a little piece of Norway, superb craftsmanship & design, with a Scottish twist, blending into this beautiful rural countryside. Together with the welcoming hospitality of Cumbria & Scotland and all they behold. Pheasant Lodge has excellent views of the Northern Cumbrian Lake District fells & Solway Coast, giving opportunities for many outdoor activities for guests to enjoy.Fishing on Border Esk river England /Scotland available & local cycle hire. As we enjoy living in this very accessible area we wanted other to afford the same opportunity to others, rural life & help support the local economy.
