Picturesque Chester Abode With Free Wifi

Pros: This kind of accommodations that you will never forget! Amazing space, relaxing, modern design, VERY comfortable for families. This was one of the two best accommodations in our whole trip, the other one being a resort village.

Pros: the out side sitting area would have been lovely only for the wasps

Cons: Could be better cooking facilities only two Hobbs for 7 people could improve on the cooker

Cons: I’m confident that when we booked that the booking mentioned inclusion of bike hire, was then told it was £10 a day with a very short sharp message. Contact from the owner / manager was poor generally Place was really hard to find as it doesn’t show up on google and no directions given The owner / manager then let the window cleaner into the property without our consent while we were out, we came back to a random person in the property with all of our belongings at risk. The place was also very basic and kitted out with all the obvious reject furniture, plates etc from the main house and could do with a. Good clean. The ‘free wifi’ also didn’t work

Pros: The keys were in a secure safe so we could access them at any time. There was only one bit if needed we just popped them back in the key safe so we could all access it without any trouble. There was enough room for us all and we had lots of space to not feel on top of each other. The property was very clean and there were lots of cleaning products for me to keep up the same standard. We had a lovely weekend and the property was a lovely and in a lovely setting as a base for our stay.

Cons: The ps3 wasn't working so we could not use it for games or DVD's. The ensuite was lovely but there was nothing to move the water from the floor as it is a wet room, a squeegee would be great. If the shower was used you couldn't then use the toilet after as the floor was too wet.

Pros: We have just spent a lovely relaxing night in the beautiful character cottage as a group of 8 - 3 adults and 5 children aged 2-11. The only thing we regretted about the booking was that we only booked one night!! The location is absolutely perfect. Just minutes from busy motorways, being set back from the road and behind the main house made us feel like we were in the middle of nowhere. The views were stunning from the back of the house and the kids absolutely loved having the sheep and chickens right by the patio! The huge living area is so spacious and there are two big sofas to accommodate everyone comfortably. There’s also a well equipped kitchen area and loads of facilities for a cozy night in, games, DVDs, PlayStation and Sky TV. There’s a pot-bellied stove to add to the comfort factor. One of the sofas pulls out into a full sized double bed. As there is also a full bathroom downstairs, and step free access to the house, it would be possibly for someone with limited mobility to join you here. Every bed in the house is really comfortable and there are heaps of bedding and towels provided. The master bedroom upstairs is en-suite and the huge family room was perfect for us as all the kids could sleep together! The only slight issue is there’s no bathroom for that room so you have to walk through the master for a middle of the night toilet trip - not a problem for family group but maybe if you were with friends. We loved the fact that the cottage felt very old and full of character, and yet at the same time the decor is very modern and fresh. This is a genuinely beautiful house, excellent value and we will be back!
