Set in 6 acres of beautiful grounds and just a stone's throw from the world famous Loch Ness, Polmaily House is a beautiful historic country home that lends itself perfectly to hosting visitors from all over the world. Guests can now enjoy the newly renovated beautiful rooms and make full use of its wonderful and unrivalled facilities which include a heated indoor pool, an undercover games area, a tennis court, a brown trout fishing lake and a private cinema (all at no extra charge). The property is also available for private and exclusive hire for weddings, corporate events and parties and can sleep up to 24 people. With all the new facilities available to you - you and your children won't want to be going out but will definitely want to be coming back to Polmaily House!

Deb and I (Chris.) moved to Polmaily House in April, 2019 and enjoyed a wonderful first season. We have exciting plans for next season (re-opening on 13 February, 2020) including the much anticipated re-opening of the completely refurbished heated indoor swimming pool and the new under-cover 85 square metres games area. As well as that, Polmaily House is also opening its doors once again to holding weddings and large family gatherings. With our teaching careers behind us, we are both very excited about being the current custodians of this wonderful old lady of a country house. We very much look forward to continuing to welcome guests and their families and friends from both around the corner and around the world.

Polmaily House is just a three minute drive to the world famous and iconic Loch Ness - the home of everyone's favourite, 'monster' - Nessie. There is so much to do nearby, including Castle Urquhart, Loch Ness cruises, Loch Ness Visitor Centre, Nessie Land, golf, cycling, canoeing, fishing, horse riding, the stunning Glen Affric, the numerous distilleries and the local pubs and restaurants. Groups looking to travel further afield can even enjoy a day on the ski slopes at Aviemore, which is just an hour away from Polmaily House. There is so much to do but one should always find time to relax and simply soak up the atmosphere and breath in the wonderful Highland air.
