Loxhore, a delightfully rural village, nestling amid lush green fields and wooded valleys on the edge of Exmoor. Famous for its country walks, birdlife and natural beauty, the area is perfect for the visitor seeking peace and quiet, but not isolation. Exmoor, with its rolling hills, red deer and stunning scenery, is the major attraction, with the rugged North Devon coast and its resort towns, sandy beaches, excellent surf and the SW Coast path coming a close second. There is much to do and see; the area boasts stately homes and gardens, theme parks for the kids, beautiful fishing villages, the shopping centres of Barnstaple and Bideford and, most importantly, mile upon mile of unspoilt countryside, from high moorland hills to rolling farmland, to the beautiful banks of the rivers Taw and Torridge. The countryside at its best.
