Tinker and Gordon Fraser built Ptarmigan Lodge with their very own hands, over 20 years ago. While the children were growing up it was a focal part of family life where they spent many happy hours, skiing, cycling and walking. When you walk into the lodge there is still the family vibe, and the open living and kitchen area allows for quality family time.

Nethy Bridge is in a fantastic location. You have a local Spar shop just down the road, a bar (with the hotel) a short walk away and plenty of areas to spend lots of time outdoors. We love the fact that you can easily go for a run from the house avoiding main roads and there is cycling, walking and skiing all incredibly close by. If you are the outdoor type then the Cairngorms National Park is the place for you, however it's also perfect for family time with the Highland Wildlife Park close by and plenty of fun to be had with the children.
