The property is a self contained annex over 2 floors. It has a large well equipped kitchen / dining area and WC. The kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven and microwave oven. Upstairs it has a bedroom with a super king sized bed which can be made into twin beds if required. (notice required at the time of booking) with an en suite shower and WC room. The Large living area has a large TV and DVD player to relax in with sea views. The large garden is available for your use should you require. There is free wi fi available in all rooms and towels and bedding all provided Gas and Electricity are free We are only a 10 minute walk away from 2 dog friendly beaches.

Hi my name is Nick and I have been renting out this annex for the last 4 years very successfully. If you have any questions please make contact and I will do my best to answer them. I will help as much as possible with local knowledge of what you may find interesting around the local area. Where to eat out or go shopping. I like to encourage as much wildlife as possible and to this end have made a wildlife pond and wildlife garden to encourage as much wildlife as possible. I get a large number of birds in the garden except for the summer months when I don’t feed them in order to help them fend for themselves.

I am at Thornwick Bay which is in Flamborough on the east coast of Yorkshire. It is a small village with several small shops and a small supermarket in the village centre approximately a 15 minute walk away. There are 6 local pubs most of which provide good quality food nearby. The Bempton RSPB reserve is a good walk along the cliff tops and the “ Puffins” can be seen usually between March and August. We also have the largest “ Gannet” colony in the UK. The area is a really great spot for bird watching and nature in general. I regularly have rabbits, deer and badgers in the garden. Bridlington is the closest nearby town some 5 miles away and Filey, Scarborough and Whitby are all within a short drive away. We are on the edge of the North York Moors with it’s beautiful scenery and steam railway that runs from Pickering to Whitby several times a day. You have the best of both the coast and countryside on your doorstep here. Hull is around 40 miles away that was the city of culture in 2017 and York is around the same distance away.
