Dalmore Lodge Guest House is set opposite Edinburgh Zoo. This Victorian terraced villa is just over 3 miles from central Edinburgh and a 10-minute drive from Edinburgh Airport.

The rooms offer a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The en suite shower rooms have complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer. Free WiFi is available throughout the house.

Dalmore Lodge Guest House is situated along a main bus route, with links to Edinburgh city centre and the airport. Murrayfield Rugby Stadium is just 20 minutes’ walk away and Edinburgh Corn Exchange is 2 miles away.

Limited parking for 2 cars is available at the rear of the property, while further public parking can be found in front of the property and also at the back of the property in Downie Grove.

Information about the host

Our property is a Victorian building and is part of a terraced section of Downie Terrace. We are continually re-decorating our rooms to keep them fresh and up-to-date. Self check in only at the present time.

We have owned and run Dalmore Lodge for 14 years. I run the property on a day-to-day basis while Dot still works as a PA in the centre of Edinburgh and and helps out with breakfast before rushing off to work! (Hence our early breakfast times!)

Corstorphine is on the outskirts of the City and we are located directly opposite Edinburgh Zoo. We are lucky to have a fantastic bus services which takes you into the Edinburgh - 3 miles away. A few pubs & restaurants located nearby - all within walking distance.
