Ramsay's is located on the east side of Edinburgh's New Town. We are within 1 minute walk of Broughton Street, here you will find an elclectic mix of bars and restaurants serving an array of different foods at competitive prices as well as several local quirky and unusual shops alongside the first ever vegetarian shop established over 40 years ago. The house sits opposite the Mansfield Traquair known as Edinburgh's Sistine chapel, and within 10 minutes walk we have the Botanical gardens. Ramsay's is situated within walking distance of both our main shopping area, Princess Street which can be reached within approximately 15 minutes walk and the famous Royal Mile also reached within approximately 20 minutes walk where you can find most if Edinburgh's attractions including Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace to mention but a few. Our guests tell us they like to come back to the house after a long day siteseeing where they can relax and enjoy the quieter ambiance of the area. As we now have the tram stop located within 5 minutes walk from us this always makes it very convenient for our guests arriving into Edinburgh Airport, if they jump on the tram within 40 minutes they are at the tram stop and a short walk down Broughton street brings them to us.
