About Rawcliffe House Farm Rawcliffe House Farm has been our family home for over 17 wonderful years, where we have brought up our children & enjoyed our business. We have met many wonderful people & families over the years & have shared in their enjoyment of wonderful walks from the door, the fantastic views & all the wildlife that is right here on the doorstep. The area has worked its charm on us, as we appreciate the quiet, tranquillity of living here, but the convenience of being in such a central location for all the attractions of the area. Living on site means we are always here to help our guests get the most enjoyment out of their holiday & also we can deal with anything that crops up straight away. We look forward to welcoming you. Jan & Duncan
Our adjacent self-catering cottages and studio rooms are surrounded by 42 acres of meadows, woodland and pastures. Although the farm is no longer worked, the fields are grazed by sheep belonging to a local farmer. We have an assortment of hens including our Light Sussex cockerel (Sid) and his light Sussex hens. These free to roam hens supply our lovely fresh eggs which can be bought by our guests & collected (with prior arrangement) from the nest by any guests. Also in front of our farmhouse we have a pond on which you will see our pet Muscovy and Indian Runner Ducks along with wild mallards and assorted wild birds who like to feed from the grain we put out. We have an extensive garden for our guests to enjoy with picnic benches and wild bird feeders to sit and watch. There is plenty of space for children to play and adults to relax. In addition we have created a walk around our fields where there are further wild bird feeding stations, benches and a viewing platform at the top of the field giving uninterrupted panoramic views.
