Hello and welcome to Reef House. My name is Rachael and I live here with my husband, our 3 boys (10, 12 &14) 3 dogs and 5 chickens so if you are after complete peace and quiet then this may not be the perfect choice of stay! We are a busy family and love getting outdoors, exploring the beautiful Norfolk coast and playing lots of sport. We promise to stay out of your way unless you need something and to keep the noise to a minimum. When we are not out and about you might find us playing games, curled up with a good book or watching movies. We have included a good selection of our favourites in the annex for lazy days.
Whether you want a quiet escape or an active break Blakeney has it all: scenic coastal walks, sailing, crabbing, a large village park with tennis courts and a good choice of places to eat and drink. There is a well stocked village shop as well as a delicatessen stocking local produce and a wonderful fishmongers selling fresh, local fish. There are a number of lovely galleries and shops in Blakeney, selling everything from clothes to bits and bobs for your house or presents to take home. Blakeney used to be a busy fishing village however now it is mainly used for private sailing and seal trips out to Blakeney point. There is something here for everyone here: we would highly recommend a glass of wine on the terrace at The Blakeney Hotel at sunset whilst the boys would suggest mud-sliding in the quay!
