Roker View Guesthouse is located just off the sea front at Roker close to the Sunderland Marina. It is a three storey Victorian terraced house, which retains much of its original character. We have single, double and family rooms including en-suites with sea views and a ground floor superior room with four poster bed and mini refrigerator for special occasions. Each room is centrally heated and comfortably furnished with colour TV including digital free view, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryer. Roker View is minutes away from Sunderland’s Blue Flag award winning beaches, great for traditional family seaside fun, our twin beaches at Roker and Seaburn are the perfect place to enjoy and unwind. Roker and Seaburn beaches have been favourite family spots for hundreds of years. The golden sands are a sandcastle builders paradise and with lifeguards on duty they’re great for paddling. The wide open promenade and landscaped seafront make for a perfect stroll in the sea air too. If you really want to take in the air though, a stroll along the restored Roker Pier is perfect. You’re never far away from a refreshing drink… or ice cream. Pier Point at Roker is right on the edge of the beach with cafes and restaurants. Seaburn too has a choice of pleasant places to eat and drink. Just a five minute walk is Roker Park, a fantastic traditional park, with play areas, a lake and a miniature railway alongside the floral displays you’d expect to find. It’s ideal if you fancy a break from the sands. Every September, Sunderland Illuminations brightens up the seafront November with dazzling lasting through to November, Roker Park is the epicentre of all things illuminated.
