Roomspace Serviced Apartments - Sterling House

Pros: The place is quite nice. Safe neighborhood, lots of shops, cafes and pubs nearby.

Cons: The collection of the keys on arrival was more like a quest and quite nightmarish - had to call the property 5 times to get in. The room was still messy when I got there. The fire alarm went on the last day, too it 15 min to stop, during that time no one answered the phone when I rang for eventual help and information. It's really hard to climb all these stairs with a heavy suitcase.

Cons: Room was smaller than pictures on booking.com so for instance to open the fridge you had to close the kitchen doors, it says “serviced” apartment but not if your there less than a week so for instance there was only toilet paper for one of the three days we were there.

Pros: Bon emplacement avec un très bel appartement de grande taille au calme avec une chambre séparée, bien chauffé. et bien équipé. Appartement très propre.

Cons: Pas de lave vaisselle (indiqué sur le site de booking) - un peu stressant pour récupérer les clefs (mécanisme genre coffre fort grippé qui ne voulait pas s'ouvrir), on est resté plus de 20 min à se poser des questions ! Aucun interlocuteur, juste des échanges de mail en Anglais avec une demande des coordonnés de la carte bancaire sur un site anglais après la réservation (pas très rassurant) pour la caution. L'approche avec l'agence qui s'occupe de l'appartement est anxiogène (lettre d'avertissement pour le bruit, lettre d'avertissement si on part après 10h00, lettre d’avertissement si on oublie ses clefs en sortant ..) .. ) bref on se sent finalement pas très bien accueilli mais je pense que cela doit être la norme pour ce genre de location.

Pros: Das Appartement befindet sich in einem ruhigen Appartement-Haus keine 3 Minute von der Untergrundbahn entfernt. Fußläufig ist die belebte Gegend von Holborn und das Theaterviertel zu erreichen. Das Appartement hatte ein geräumiges, zweckmäßig eingerichtetes Wohnzimmer mit Küchenzeile, ein großes Schlafzimmer mit bequemen Bett und ein Bad mit großer Dusche. Alles in allem ein perfektes Appartement zum Genießen des London-Aufenthaltes. Das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis war angemessen.

Cons: Jammern auf hohem Niveau: Leider verfügte die Küche nicht über einen Geschirrspüler, die Wohnzimmermöbel waren nicht so bequem wie zu Hause, der Fernseher eine Spur zu klein.

Pros: Has washing machine, microwave and good fridge - all functioning. Great location for accessing museums and sights of London.

Cons: Very small rooms, shower just a dribble, had to close off access to stovetop to open fridge door, carpets grubby, water system noisy. Never felt comfortable, just adequate.

Pros: We were changed to an alternative Apartment at the last minute due to a glitch with the Hosts booking system however, it made no difference to the excellent standard and we had a brighter aspect.

Cons: The Apartment was of a very high standard however, the pre-occupancy checks had clearly not been done prior to us arriving however, the Host's Representative was in the Block when we arrived and he personally dealt with all of the issues which included replacing four light bulbs. no negatives after this initial matter had been dealt with.
