My name is Sarah Wood and I own the house with a group of friends looking to provide a different level of service to our guests. Known as Quince Investments, we aim to give you a truly special stay. Our houses are no ordinary holiday homes, they exude charm and homeliness but above all comfort. We want you to experience the best of the best. Great locations, great facilities and something that’s just a little bit different. All our houses have hot water outside baths, they are fun to use and special places to relax. All the houses have been built with sustainability in mind, they are very well insulated, way above the norm, we have electric car charging points for you to use, we have only used the most efficient lighting. We want to do our bit for the environment as we know you do. We ask you pick up your rubbish and don’t drop anything on the beach or in the sea, as in turn less plastic means better cleaner waters – we have all watched the documentaries.

Rose Barn, the first of the three barns has a beautiful and sheltered courtyard, perfect for alfresco dining during the summer months. This brilliantly light and airy property has a large living area which has been carefully designed and curated for those ready to relax. With four bedrooms in total and an outdoor tin bath adding quirky relaxation under the stars.

Located in the Chimney Meadows Nature Reserve where guests can enjoy beautiful walks from the doorstep as well as plenty of excursions and days out in the local surrounding areas. Just 10 minutes away in Witney where the closest supermarket is located, you will find The Wychwood Brewery which is ideal for a fun, insightful tour and introduction to beer production, alternatively enjoy the shop for a treat to take home later. There’s always the option to sit in the sun and enjoy a drink with friends too. Cogges, the historic farmstead used for filming the home of Mr Drewe in Downton Abbey is a farm that has over 15 acres of grounds and farmyard to explore. Dating back to the 10th Century, the house is surrounded by a Norman moat and has an adventure playground to be enjoyed by all the family. Neighbouring village, Charlbury not only has a train station with a direct line from London but also a family run, delightful country pub called The Bull Inn. Ex wine producer, Charlie Crossley has a passion for food and drink conjuring up a sumptuous menu, including pizzas and cocktails.
