Beautiful woodland location. Perfect for cycling, golf (1 mile to Grange over Sands Golf Club), walking and wildlife spotting (numerous species of birds, deer, squirrels, bats........) or just relaxing away from it all. Leighton Moss RSPB reserve is just two stops down on the train at Silverdale. The cottage sleeps two adults and one child. Whist very compact - it has all the facilities you need. Situated in a very peaceful location and of immense external character, with limestone walls and an attractive slate roof, the 100 year old cottage has been tastefully modernised internally and combines all that is needed for perfectly relaxed holiday living. The cottage boasts a pleasant and secluded al fresco eating area with an all weather barbecue. Close by – a country hotel serving excellent food (100 yards - hidden away though the woods!), woodland and spectacular coastal walks, Cumbria Cycle Way, the nearby Netherwood Hotel with its indoor spa pool and jacuzzi and the facilities of the Victorian resort of Grange over Sands, which include many specialist shops, promenade & train station.
