Rothay Lodge is situated in a quiet area close to the centre of Grasmere village which is in the heart of the English Lake District. A particular feature is the garden through which a stream runs and glorious views of the surrounding fells and the valley. The house sleeps up to 10 in 5 bedrooms, each of which has its own en-suite bathroom. There is a wetroom shower and toilet on the ground floor and a stairlift which makes the house suitable for wheelchair users.

We bought Rothay Lodge and Rothay Lodge Apartment in 2003 and have made it suitable for wheelchair users.

Grasmere village is a short walk away where there are a variety of restaurants, pubs, cafes and shops. There are many excellent fell walks from the door.
