Pros: Room was clean and very comfortable bed was on the small side and only one bedside cabinet no bed side lamps and no chair in the room do had to sit on the bed there was plenty of tea and coffee in the room the hotel was hard to find with no staff to answer the door so was left outside for quiet a long time had to ring the property in the end for someone to let us in. When we did finally get in we wasn't told about breakfast details Evan thou it was supposed to be included in the price so we left with nothing to eat .

Pros: The rooms were exceptionally clean and fresh, the bed was very comfortable and the facilities were excellent. We have stopped in many overnight accommodations in the Scarborough area over the past 25 years and this one is definitely in my top 3. Thank you for giving us a very pleasant experience. Recommended

Pros: I was transferred to The Maynard hotel asRowntree Lodge had no hot water and heating but Wendy was a great help and greeted me when I arrived from Cumbria with a smile and very friendly. The bed was comfy and room was clean and tidy
Cons: Got woken up to drilling as there’s construction work on building and water stain on ceiling

Pros: The owner rang us the day before to inform us that the heating had gone down and that another part couldn't be fitted and the heating wouldn't be up and running before the weekend. She asked up if we would like to be moved into another of her b&bs just across the road ( the Maynard). We accepted that and what a lovely b&b it was. Clean, tidy, very friendly staff and excellent food. We will definitely go back to this place.
