Roydon Marina Village Hotel

Pros: Accommodation very comfortable and spacious. Good sized bathroom. Great restaurant onsite.

Pros: Well evidently they had stopped the breakfast after I made the booking so no breakfast. we stayed 3 nights and I would recommend the Italian restaurant. parking is becoming difficult when they are busy.

Cons: Not being able to park outside my booking , I have a Blue badge but it seems people can park where ever not room related.

Pros: Lovely location very clean

Cons: No breakfast facilities a cafe some distance away but didn't open until 9

Pros: Location is good. Rooms reasonable size, warm & clean. Our room had patio area outside, which I imagine in warmer weather could be appreciated. Bathroom good size with a good shower. Property does not have dinning room so for breakfast, lunch & dinner you need to leave hotel. There is an Italian restaurant next door which is reasonable, but if you take a stroll to Roydon station there is a lovely restaurant called Just ... at the station. We had dinner and Sunday brunch there. So can highly recommend.

Pros: We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom chalet which had all the comforts of home. Although the hotel does not have a restaurant or bar there is a restaurant/bar beside it. There is also the Boat café at the marina which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel which serves food and drink. The location is quiet and does not have any other facilities , but it is only a 5-7 minute walk from a train station.

Pros: Location close to station although the road has now become very busy and is poorly lit at night. Marcos Restaurant is very good. Excellent food and service there again.

Cons: Disappointed with the lack of Breakfast. In the past a continental one has been provided. Work going on in a room nearby. Noisy drilling etc from early in the morning.

Pros: The location is really quiet, being well off the road, and next to the water. The facilities were excellent. We were aware that our room had no windows, but the interior lighting was more than adequate. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was larger than expected. The onsite Italian restaurant was also pleasant. There is a cafe/bar onsite, but there are also 3 local pubs just a 5 minute walk away.

Cons: No complaints here,

Cons: Didn't know continental breakfast was no longer included, and it was still in the rooms welcome book

Pros: Quiet location , peaceful , lovely patio area .
