Pros: where do I start, free electric hook up for hybrid vehicles, friendly reception staff , nothing too much bother, room well above average, spa facilities ....... amazing, gym was well stocked and spacious and the restaurant and quality of food exceptional. location is perfect for harrogate all in all one of the best spa hotels I've stayed in. enjoy

Pros: I loved the special treatment we got. I had mentioned it was my husband's birthday when booking and we had a room upgrade, an excellent table for our meal on the first night, and a complimentary bottle of fizz on BOTH nights of our stay which was unexpected. The spa facilities were amazing, and we had access to it all which we weren't sure we would so that was a great surprise. It was like a theme park of relaxation, everywhere you went there was a different room to try.
Cons: One waiter was sneezing, then wiping his nose with his hand, which he then wiped on his shirt and he then brought over a steak knife to our table transferring the germs over! This normally would have been worrying, however as the country is in the grip of a Corona virus pandemic, I thought this was extremely bad hygiene. He wasn't the only waiter I heard sniffing as they worked. It's fine for them to have a cold but not fine for them not to be using a tissue and then not washing their hands. The food menu could have been as extensive as the wine list and when you are told the evening meal is in with the price but then read the small print and find out you only get an allowance of £43, it's a little disappointing. Maybe the food should be free and then you have to pay extra for the drinks.

Pros: After paying soo much to stay, i couldnt believe you have to pay another £50 each to use the top spa, fortunatly we were given it complimentary for my husbands birthday, but if we'd had to pay extra i would have been very annoyed.
Cons: I liked every thing, the staff esp the manager Oli was very good
