Our guest house is in an ideal location for walks, beach and many other attractions with Exmoor being on our doorstep the activities are endless, The advantage of being in an elevated position is having beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, with a large decked area in south facing garden with an outdoor pool for the little ones! We stand alone! away from the other guest houses many of them are on the road.
We moved form Surrey too Saffron House in 1999 and have not looked back, we have brought up 2 lovely children here and could not wish for more. We run it as a family run establishment with family close by they are all ways willing to lend a hand. We do most of the renovation work ourselves. Dave plays in the local snooker & pool leagues & Diane enjoys gardening, walking and cooking.
The local people of Combe Martin are warm & welcoming. The village is steeped in history with it's silver mines, which you can still go and visit. There are many activities & attractions to see for families, many walks for ramblers and dog lovers. being on the south west coast path has it's advantages!
