Sapey Golf and Country Club has 3 lodges which can be booked individually or together and we are delighted to welcome golfers and non-golfers alike! Established in 1990, ownership transferred to Wyldecrest Parks in 2017 and a plan of refurbishment and improvements undertaken with the Lodges at Sapey Golf & Country Club opening in November 2018. The Lodges have been popular with weekending couples and groups of friends looking to enjoy a relaxed weekend away from it all. The Clubhouse is popular for dining with all meals being made to order and a delicious Sunday Carvery every week. The Clubhouse is also host to various entertainment nights, from Tribute Acts to Christmas and New Year Parties. Whatever your reason for visiting and whenever you arrive, we look forward to welcoming you!

Property information

Our lodges are located on the edge of the golf course a short walk from the car park. All include a decked area with patio furniture to take in the views - you may even see a hare or a muntjac deer wandering along and at night, barn owls often sit on the deck posts to survey the area! The centrally heated lodges are fully equipped with everything you need to self cater and our clubhouse also serves freshly cooked meals to order for you to enjoy overlooking the 18th fairway and green, or from the outdoor balcony - just check our opening times when you book. The open plan design lends itself to a sociable gathering of friends or family and the three lodges (two 3-bed and one 2-bed) can be booked together to sleep up to 16 adults. Linen and towels are provided to ensure a comfortable stay and a refreshments welcome basket will settle you in with your first cuppa after your journey. Each lodge has its own hot tub on the decking for your enjoyment day or evening, whatever the weather! Whilst check in is by 5pm, a later check in can be arranged for a fee (may be waived in summer when we are open later) - please contact us if you think that you may require this.

Neighbourhood information

Upper Sapey is a small sleepy village 5 miles from the festival town of Bromyard on the borders of Herefordshire and Worcestershire. There is a very good pub, The Baiting House just 200m away (bring a torch) and the village church is about a mile from the lodges. You will find a Co-op supermarket in Bromyard with restaurants, takeaways, coffee shops and some interesting museums and local shops to browse.
