Savoy Place - Your Apartment

Pros: La ubicación era lo mejor ya que ibamos a ver a un familiar que vive muy cerca de allí, y tienes supermercado, bolera cerca. Los pubs, pizzeria y/o restaurantes están un poco más alejados. Era muy acogedora y amplia. Bastante limpio. A 10 minutos del bus al centro.

Cons: A la cocina le faltaba mantenimiento y la puerta era bastante incómoda, debería ser de corredera. No dejaron ni una bolsa para la basura y el microondas no funcionaba. El calentador de agua también estaba un poco sucio y no había cafetera. Un poco caro.

Cons: When we arrived heating was off. We had to switch on the boiler from the main switch, we did the same for the oven, fridge freezer, microwave. Dishwasher was off too and wasn’t connected to the main water too. We think that everything must be ready to be in use. Load of cobwebs in the kitchen and bathrooms. No blinds or curtains in the of the bedrooms and everything could see us from outside-no privacy at all. No bulb on the night light.

Pros: Clean spacious

Cons: The staff and help over the phone was terrible

Cons: The boiler had been switched off prior to our arrival in the evening, we weren’t told the boiler needed switching on and it’s not the norm! The flat was freezing! I called first thing in the morning after sleeping in our clothes and jumpers all night (including my 3 year old). The cleaner came round and turned the boiler on. I was then told it would take some time to heat the flat up as it was under floor heating and a large flat. After 2 hours waiting and only 2 degrees improvement we left the apartment that morning and checked into a hotel. The ridiculous thing is, is if you know the heating takes some time to warm the flat up after the boiler is switched off then why turn it off when you know there is an evening arrival coming. The apartment would never of been warm enough to sleep without clothes even if we had known about the boiler! Ridiculous!!

Pros: The flat was lovely and location was great for us. The lock in box is my favourite

Cons: Only thing heating took a while to kick in so was cold first night and a broken curtain in lounge was a problem as friend was staying in lounge but they kindly sorted this out for us very helpful have already booked again!

Pros: savory furniture

Cons: no condiments for cooking

Pros: Great apartment, nicely decorated and furnished. Good location.

Cons: Slightly further out from the harbour side that I thought when booking it but it was still a good place to locate for the weekend.
