Pros: The staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating, I couldn't fault anything at all. Food was delicious, very generous portions.

Pros: The hotel is in a lovely location and has loads of character and history. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. The room was one of the cleanest I have every stayed in. Great breakfast too!

Pros: The evening meal and breakfast were superb . The staff were very attentive and keen to please Some of the hotel rooms are currently being refurbished , but we didn't experience any disruption at all during our short stay.

Pros: The staff were fantastic nothing was too much trouble. The room had been well decorated and WIFI worked well. My evening meal was very good. I had to leave early in the morning and the night porter went out of his way to ensure I had something to keep me fuelled on the way, he tried to offer food but I only wanted a cup of tea, great friendly service.
Cons: As there weren't many people there it seemed very quiet.

Cons: Only thing I would suggest in future is maybe having a gym and possibly Jacuzzi and Sauna.

Pros: Staff very welcoming and helpful, almost family atmosphere. Felt like a house guest rather than a hotel-goer. Room very comfortable, food absolutely magnificent and extremely good value for money.
Cons: Coffee served at breakfast was instant. Not a great start when filter coffee is very easily producible.

Pros: My wife and I stayed for three nights, and had our Westie Millie with us. The doggy welcome pack was a pleasant surprise. Great grounds for dog walking Amanda and her staff made us all feel welcome. Will definitely stay there again.
