Sea Breeze is a beautiful light and airy cottage located directly across from Walmer Green and the beach, there are wonderful sea views from the two ensuite bedrooms upstairs. Recently renovated the cottage offers all modern amenities with old world seaside charm. I love a challenge and this cottage certainly had that. The lounge was only 8ft 8in wide and the ceilings were exceptionally low, the staircase was more like a ladder! It was a cottage that need some TLC but ultimately I bought the cottage because of the sea view as its directly opposite the sea with Wonderful walks, Walmer green and Georgian Deal is a short stroll away.

I discovered Walmer and Deal by chance four years ago and made the decision to move here there and then. I fell in love with everything the area has on offer and really appreciate the unspoilt architecture and history everywhere. I've been renovating and renting property for over 25 years in London and finally found my dream by the sea that warranted an immediate move! I enjoyed renovating Sea Breeze from the shingle up to the roof and decided instead of having 3 bedrooms upstairs that the cottage should have 2 large bedrooms both ensuite, a rarity in cottages in this area but I like the luxury of an ensuite and I’m sure my guests will as well. No waiting turns for the bathroom at Sea Breeze.... I have a home adjacent to Sea Breeze but I also spend a lot of time in my other home in Ireland, when I’m not staying in Deal I have wonderful people who manage the cottage for me and keep it spike and span for guests. On arrival my guests are greeted with a laid table ready to enjoy the prepared cream tea so they can relax a little after their journey.

Located on The Strand, in a conservation area, the cottage is directly opposite the attractive green that provides a bandstand (concerts every Sunday from May until September) along with a glorious free & secure paddling pool for children. Locally on The Strand is a traditional bakery, pubs, including the Lighthouse a brilliant venue for real ale and live music, convenience stores, restaurants and two cafes both offering full English breakfasts with superb views all the way to France. Deal itself is a short stroll along the front, passing Deal Castle, to its award winning High Street with it's quirky independent shops, markets, restaurants, cafes and local museums. It's a Georgian town retaining much of its character, with lovely little hidden jem foodie/real ale pubs located down side streets. Within a short drive is Walmer Castle with it's wonderful gardens and Dover Castle (Approx 7 miles) and Canterbury and it's cathedral is 30 minutes drive away.
