Welcome to Margate's seafront, garden holiday home! Direct access onto the golden sandy beaches! Quiet, tranquil home with no passing cars. 3 mins walk to Margate train station. Two double bedrooms, stylish bathroom, open plan kitchen/living room with bays windows to the sea and sunsets to die for! Outdoor living with L-shaped sofas, hammock, BBQ, solar festoon lighting, space for kite surfboards. Free on street parking. Next to Dreamlands and a short stroll to Old Town. Newly refurbished May 2017. The layout comprises: Open plan kitchen/living room with breakfast bar, bean bags, large sofas and two air mattresses for extra sleeping arrangements with single duvets and fitted sheets. Hallway with cupboard where you'll find a wind breaker for the beach! Two double bedrooms, both with aspect to the garden. I'm an English teacher who works in community education in London. I'm a keen foodie (I love to BBQ!) and enjoy visiting different parts of the world. I recently fell in love with the Kent coast and bought my perfect holiday home in Margate. I am very pleased to be able to share it with you. My favourite things to do in Margate are taking long walks around the coast (follow the Viking Trail to Broadstairs or Ramsgate), eating at many of the amazing restaurants, Strokes Adventure Golf (it's on the doorstep) and cooking up a BBQ storm while chilling out in our walled back garden.

Margate is just 90 minutes by train, from London St Pancras. In 2019 this will only be a 60-minute journey, once the Ashford to Margate line is completed. For those travelling by car, Margate is accessed via the A28 and M2. There are no parking restrictions on Sea View Terrace, you can park right outside. Whilst staying in Margate, I can't recommend enough visiting the stunning, sandy beaches of which there are 14 and include Broadstairs, Botany Bay, Joss Bay, Walpole Bay to just name a few. The Kent coastline is beautiful and can be explored by car, bus or rail. Fancy cycling? There is also a scenic cycle route – the Viking Coastal Trail. There is further information about the beaches in your guide book inside the property, highlighting which beaches are best for surfing, windsurfing, kite surfing, bodyboard private lessons, kayaking, and even scuba diving!
