Exciting News ! Seagulls Loft is currently having a complete refurbishment upgrade for Summer 2021 SEAGULLS LOFT is situated in the heart of the bustling seaside town of Ilfracombe. Located on the fourth floor the apartment has sea views and has been well furnished to provide a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. SEAGULLS LOFT sleeps 2 people in a double bedroom. All the delights that Ilfracombe has to offer are within easy walking distance of the property. The picturesque harbour, which is guarded over by Damien Hirst’s statue ‘Verity’, has a good variety of shops, restaurants and a small beach to enjoy. The local Tunnels Beaches are also well worth a visit. However if you choose to travel a little further a field, Lynton to Lynmouth cliff railway makes for an excellent day out. At Croyde, Saunton and Woolacombe you will find some of the best and cleanest surf beaches in the country, as well as many smaller coves and bays. Exmoor is only a short distance away, and on a clear day the views can be spectacular. With the closest beach just 175 yards away and bars, shops, pubs and restaurant 200 yards away, this is a fantastic location for a seaside getaway.

This is our family holiday home which we love staying in ourselves when time allows. Watching the waves crash in during winter time is a particular favourite.

The charcter-filled Victorian town of Ilfracombe, which offers the famous Victorian Tunnel Beaches, aquarium and harbour. From the quaint harbour, regularly scheduled trips on the Balmoral to see puffins, seals and basking sharks leave for the National Trust Lundy Island. Deep sea fishing is also available from Cottages in Ilfracombe, or half day coastal trips sightseeing the old silver mines and the sublime cliffs around the Valley of the Rocks. Come rain or shine, there is lots to see and do from Ilfracombe Cottages. There are various galleries in Ilfracombe; with the Damien Hurst Restaurant overlooking the harbour. Nestled below Capstone Hill, is the Landmark Theatre, which always has a good programme of drama, comedy, musicals, cultural and family events. Alternatively, sample some of the splendid chocolate at the Walker's Chocolate Museum. The children will enjoy the mini golf, many play areas and the simple delights of crabbing, exploring the rock pools or climbing the Torrs. RHS Rosemoor gardens, Tapeley House and Arlington are again within easy driving distance; as is Broomhill, famous for its art, statues, gardens and excellent restaurant.
