Sea's The Day - Sea View Apartment

Pros: Absolutely Everything!!!! Amazing accommodation and attention to detail. Warm, and cosy, spotlessly clean, comfy beds, luxury bathroom, info pack, and little luxuries included were spot on! Host has everything covered and more. From the bay window you have stunning views of the sea and across the town - could even see the ferry pulling out of Harwich docks from here! Quiet, peaceful location with lots of places to eat nearby and... They also have beach hut hire if the 4min walk to the beach is not close enough! :-)

Pros: The property is in an excellent location with views of the sea. It was clean and well equipped. The breakfast basket was a lovely touch and appreciated as we arrived late. Katy was the perfect host, easy to contact and responded really quickly to any questions we had, included recommendations for places to eat.

Pros: Seas the Day is immaculately clean, beautifully furnished and very comfortable throughout. Set in a lovely location, the apartment is on a quiet street, moments away from the train station, town, shops, pier and beach. On arrival It was lovely to see a basket of cereals, croissants, jam, marmalade and biscuits. There was also tea, coffee and sugar provided, plus a large jug of orange juice and water in the fridge. No shortage of pillows, cushions and soft towels. Home from home indeed. Katy is an excellent host with great communication all round.

Cons: The only thing that (currently) has a negative impact on the apartment, is the lack of any type of handrail for the steep exterior steps and internal staircase to the first floor. Katy has taken this need on board already. Due to a repair to the roof of the overall building, scaffolding was in the process of being erected on the day I arrived. As there were two men directly outside the windows of the living area, I felt the need to keep the blinds closed throughout my stay, losing out on the sea views! Katy forewarned me days before my stay so just a matter of timing being very unfortunate!

Pros: Lovely light property, beautifully decorated and furnished with glorious sea views. Fantastic host. Left a lovely basket of croissants and jams for us with orange juice in the fridge and tea and coffee (which we had forgotten to bring with us). These little extras really make a difference and very much appreciated. So close to the beach and fantastic walks with the dog in the early morning sunshine.

Cons: We loved everything.

Pros: Had a really great time here. Well decorated and cared for apartment just seconds from the sea. Easy to park outside on road. Well equipped kitchen. All very nice indeed.

Pros: It was a lovely surprise to have the lovely breakfast hamper and fruit juice in the fridge. The apartment was very well situated for both the beach and town centre. The owner was very helpful when all my contact details were failing to work due to a new phone etc.

Cons: My only negative for this holiday apartment were the 5 VERY steep steps up to the front door with no handrail and there was no handrail on the main stairs. My mother and aunt are perfectly able to climb the main stairs but at 80 years old we all would have felt happier with something to hold on to!! These 2 things would deter us from returning but otherwise everything was great and we would recommend it to others

Pros: Walking distance to sea, very quaint

Pros: The flat was home from home it had everything you would need for your stay including a welcome basket, tea, coffee, fresh juice and water in the fridge. The bathroom was very modern, toiletries and fluffy white towels. The bedroom was nice and quiet and the bed was so comfortable, we slept really well. Mustn't forget the view, we sat and looked at the sea from the sofa, very relaxing. The kitchen had all mod cons, the host had thought of everything. Brilliant!

Cons: There wasn't anything to dislike!

Pros: Very nice appartment well kept.

Cons: Issues with hot water and heating

Pros: Well equipped and very clean. Good location for beach and shops.
