Sheephouse Manor is a unique property, built some 500 years ago it still has the original old oak beams and tiny doors within the Manor itself. The cottages are all converted stables, which used to be home to donkeys and horses. We have 2 acres of beautiful well maintained grounds, with lots of seating areas, and quiet places to relax. A large gas BBQ, with seating area for 8, is available to all guests. To the rear we have a large 1 acre paddock with football goals, in ground trampoline and zip wire, (flying fox), for the kids to let off stream. Our resident chickens roam around here too. We welcome pets in the cottages, for a small extra fee, and a special dog run is available for our furry friends.
I am a busy lady, with 2 daughters just graduated from University. I have many hobbies are mainly in the fitness and relaxation world, but I enjoy gardening, eating , drinking and socializing too. It's all about life balance.
We are very lucky in that we are located in the beautiful Thames Valley, and a few minutes walk from the Thames path. The riverside walk from us to Cookham, passing Cliveden House, and the cottage where the Profuo affair started, and the National Trust land is particularly spectacular. We are 2 miles from Bray Village, home to Heston Blumethal's Fat Duck restaurant,5 miles from Tom Kerridge's The Hand & Flowers in Marlow. For the young at heart, Legoland, Thorpe Park, and Chessington World of Adventure are within 30 minutes drives. Windsor Castle is 5 miles from us, and Ascot, and Henley 6 miles.
