Beautiful hand built Shepherds Hut located in it's own private garden with seating areas. The accommodation comprises of a main living area with pull out table and two chairs for dining, kitchen with Belfast sink, fridge, 2 ring hob, cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils and a mini oven for grilling and toasting. Built in double bed with large storage area underneath for luggage, DVD player, radio and CD player and feature electric stove with living flame effect fire. There is a separate shower room with corner shower, wash basin and toilet. We provide 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Tea, coffee, a Nepsresso machine with capsules, half a litre of milk (or alternative if required), choice of cereals, home made scones and butter are all provided together with salt, pepper, cooking oil, tea towel, dishcloth and sanitiser. A hut with padlock is provided to store coats, walking boots, bikes etc. Parking is available at the bottom of our drive and a keylock for access to keys. Dogs are welcome and we provide a bed, bucket, sponge, towels and feeding bowls which can be found in the drying hut.

We are Anne and Alan and recently moved to Thieves Bank from nearby Whitley Bay. We live on site and are available to help you in any way we can but will also respect your privacy. We have 2 very well behaved, laid back greyhounds, Naomi and Binky and a cat named Tiffany.'

The Sheepwash Shepherds Hut is situated close to The River Wansbeck in the picturesque hamlet of Sheepwash, Northumberland. The historic market town of Morpeth is a 30 minute drive away, with it's eclectic mix of shops, coffee houses and restaurants. Alnwick Castle and Gardens are again a 30 minute drive away and Alnwick Treehouse and restaurant is well worth a visit being the largest treetop building of it's kind in the world, with two wobbly rope bridges, roaring log fires in the cooler months and sun soaked decking in summer. The nearby North East Coast is among the country's most rugged and charming. Visit Bamburgh Castle, Craster for it's famous kippers, see the puffins on The Farne Islands and experience exhilarating horse riding on the beach at Holy Island.
