Ship Bungalow is a 3 Bedroom Split level property - "Self Catering" Accommodation, sleeps up to a maximum 6 people. Private Garden & Parking. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, one en-suite. The upper floor living room has a sea view, looking to the Bristol Channel and Wales beyond. The kitchen is modern, open plan, well appointed with an island/breakfast bar, dining table and 3-seater sofa with doors opening on to the patio and garden area. Located at the western end of the High Street in the charming village of Porlock, Somerset *(No Dogs Allowed). An excellent holiday location to enjoy the natural wonders and superb scenery of Exmoor National Park and the dramatic coastline in this region. The Ship Bungalow is situated at the bottom of Porlock Hill, one mile from the sea, approximately ten to fifteen minutes walk away, with the beautiful Porlock Weir only five minutes away by car. Within short walking distance of an excellent selection of shops to cater for your holiday needs during your stay. These include two well stocked convenience stores, pubs, restaurants, tearooms all serving quality food and drink. Other shops include a Post Office (stocked with country living accessories), Pharmacy, Cheese shop, ATM, Art gallery, gift shops and more… Other places of interest include the Dovery Manor Museum containing a wealth of information relating to local history. There are two Churches on the High Street, Porlock Methodist Church and St. Dubricius Church, dedicated to the 7th Century Welsh Saint, said to have crowned King Arthur. Also within a short drive are the pretty Victorian villages of Lynton and Lynmouth to the west and the bustling holiday town of Minehead to the east. Further west takes you to the enchanting medieval Dunster Castle (National Trust). There are beaches at Dunster and Blue Anchor with the historic harbour village of Watchet just along the coast. A security deposit of £150 is required and subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation.

Ship Bungalow is a contemporary/modern split level Bungalow, recently refurbished to a high standard. The kitchen/dining room is situated on the lower floor with access to a large garden. The Living room is situated on the upper floor with a panoramic view looking out to the Bristol Channel and Wales beyond. There are three bedrooms, a master with a Super King Size bed, built in wardrobe, large en-suite shower room, double sinks and a WC. Bedroom one has two Single beds plus a wardrobe. Bedroom two has a Queen size bed with a built in wardrobe. Both are served with a shared bathroom comprising a bath and shower, sink and WC. There are private parking spaces for 2 cars. The property has a lawn garden with a patio/dining area.

Porlock is a small historical village situated within Exmoor National Park very close to the Southwest Coast Path, just 2 miles from Porlock Weir.
