Silent Valley B&B is perfectly situated right in the middle of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, nestled at the foot of the Mourne Mountains. Just 2 miles from the seaside village of Annalong, a popular holiday & fishing resort with a picturesque harbour and historic corn mill, 3.5 miles from Kilkeel, and 9 miles from the popular seaside resort of Newcastle. Silent Valley B&B is the perfect place to explore the Kingdom of Mourne, or relax in the tranquillity of the countryside at our bespoke country retreat. The house itself offers modern luxury accommodation. Residents have use of the dining room for breakfast with stunning views of the Mourne Mountains, unless of course they want to dine alfresco on the patio, weather permitting! Residents will also have use of a guest sitting room with books and board games available and plenty of room to relax and unwind. Our three bedrooms are comfortable, spacious double rooms that benefit from their own ensuite facilities with a walk in shower. Two of our rooms enjoy large, comfortable, king size beds. Our third room can be offered as a double, or family/twin room, consisting of a double and single bed. All rooms come with a flat screen smart TV with freeview and radio capabilities, or hit the Netflix button to catch up on your favourite shows. All rooms include Tea & Coffee making facilities, hairdryers, hot water bottles, safety deposit boxes & a selection of toiletries and amenities. Silent Valley Bed & Breakfast is run and operated by hosts Darren & Victoria. Between us we have over 15 years experience working within the hospitality industry and we have recently taken the leap to venture into business together and to follow our dreams of running our very own B&B. Upon visiting Northern Ireland for the first time as a couple in 2016, we fell in love with the stunning landscape, friendly people, the food, and the slower pace of life that the stunning Irish countryside has to offer, and here we are 2 years later, opening our doors to the public, and we couldn’t be more excited! We love to meet new people and hope to create a lasting memory of your stay in County Down by providing a bespoke personal touch. We are both keen walkers and love to explore the countryside to relax and revitalise ourselves. Having only lived here a short while, we already consider ourselves knowledgeable of the area and we are happy & comfortable to help provide advice as to where to visit and eat during your stay.
