Skye Haven

Boasting stunning views over Portree Harbour, Skye Haven is located on the Isle of Skye. This bed and breakfast is set away from the main road, and is a five-minute walk from the centre of Portree.

Skye Haven is a family run bed and breakfast. Each room features either an en suite or private bathroom. Guests can benefit from free WiFi, a hairdryer, free toiletries, and tea and coffee facilities.

Guest can enjoy a continental buffet including hams, cheeses, pastries, cereals, fruit and natural yogurts. Skye Haven will also cater for dietary requirements on request.

The bed and breakfast is a 10 minute walk away from the Aros Experience. The Talisker Distillery is 17 miles from the property. For ease of travel Skye Haven is conveniently located next to the main road A87.

Information about the host

Built in 1974 the house was firstly as a family home and in the early 90's became An Acarsaid Guest House. We moved in to the house in July 2014 and are planning a huge redevelopment with our inherited rooms. Our room are not suitable for additional beds, Please do not ask for extra people we cannot accommodate. Both Anna and myself come from a hospitality background and have five star experience which we use to run our house to the best of our abilities, we have a 12 year old son and our 4 year old dog Ruby, a Black Labrador, we keep her away from the guest end of the house and guest areas but if you need a doggy fix, just ask. During these new times with COVID we are pushing forward with our top class cleaning and new style of breakfast service so you can enjoy your stay and be safe, hand sanitiser is at the door on arrival and door handles are cleaned at regular intervals.

The Sinclair family have had 25 years experience in the hospitality trade and offer relaxed and attentive service, if we can help we will and if we don't have the answer we will do the best we can.

We are quiet away from the road with well appointed rooms and privacy for our rooms, views of the hills and Portree Bay from the house.
